Accomodation Tax

The tax is applicable to non-residents and payable per person per night up to a maximum of three consecutive nights staying in accommodation within the territory of Volterra.

For the cold months between September and April and in exceptional cases, the heating has a lump sum surcharge.

> Laundry – Possibility to use the shared washing machine (€ 5.00/ use)

> Pets – Only one small-sized domestic pet is allowed per apartment. Accepted sizes are those classified as “Mini.” The pet owner is obligated not to let their four-legged companion sleep on the sofa or bed. Additionally, the owner is required to clean up feces from the garden, with an extra fee (€8.00/day) applicable.

We are in the countryside and for your peace of mind during the spring and summer mosquito nets are placed on the windows, but it is necessary to bring a repellent lotion.

> Baby kit – The baby kit is available for families with children up to 4 years old. Includes: cot, high chair, bathtub, carpet, sheets and towels. If only one of these goods is required, the entire service must still be purchased. (€ 10.00/ day)

> Final cleaning – Final cleaning is mandatory. (max € 50.00/ stay).
> Extra cleaning – it is possible to request extra cleaning during your stay. There is a cost to be respected on site.

> Heating – From the beginning of November to the end of April, heating can have a flat rate supplement (max € 15.00/ day).
NB: for the Gerani apartment the cost of heating is calculated according to consumption.

> Smoking – It is forbidden to smoke in the house.

> Tourist Tax – The tax is applicable to non-residents and is payable per person per night up to a maximum of three consecutive nights staying in accommodation facilities in the Volterra area. Children under 12 are exempt from paying the tax. Taxes (€ 2,00/ person).

> Check in – you are welcome from 16.00 to 18.30 (contact me for different time necessity).

Please note:
Reception after the Check-in time requires a supplement.
From 19.30 to 21.30: € 10.00.
From 21.30 to 23.00: € 20.00
From 23.00 it is no longer possible to welcome.

It will also be asked to sign a Privacy document at check-in.

> Check out – you must vacate the apartment by 10.00 (other customers may arrive). Before leaving the apartment, the following rules must be respected:
– open the window
– wash the kitchen dishes, glasses, etc., and the hob.
– take the rubbish to the special bins at the top of the road.
These are not included in the final cleaning.

Che sia per un soggiorno breve o per una lunga vacanza, il nostro agriturismo rientra ormai fra le scelte preferite dei turisti che approdano nel volterrano. Il turismo rurale si è sviluppato di recente grazie ad una politica di recupero e ripristino di antiche cascine, poderi abbandonati, tipiche masserie e case contadine dismesse. A questo si aggiunge il maggior rispetto per il territorio, l’attenzione per la natura e i prodotti biologici, e uno spirito eco-friendly, che ci avvicina alla campagna.

Filettro is situated in the open countryside, on a low hill surrounded by olive groves and Mediterranean woodland, off the road that leads from Volterra to Pisa, down a winding lane flanked by cypress trees.

The farm house offers five apartments traditionally renovated and furnished in classic Tuscan rural style decor. Nestled within 20 hectares of land, the farmhouse is sheltered by a variety of oak trees and acacia trees surrounded by olive groves and a landscape of gently rolling hills. In the summer months the aromatic broom adorn the meadows with a yellow hue.

The farmhouse offers a conveniently located swimming pool on the grounds where once the farm animals roamed, a play area with a swing, a gravel bowling court, volley ball and a table tennis.

One of the most beautiful areas of the Volterran countryside, a haven of peace and tranquillity, a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the idyllic countryside setting, breathtaking views and blazing sunsets.
